Why GRP4 Fabrications Dry Sump Tanks.
To get the best reliability out of your competition Engine it is best to have it fitted with a Dry Sump kit.
In a Dry Sump kit, the oil is stored outside the Engine in an Alloy Dry Sump Tank rather than in the Sump pan.
GRP4 Fabrications manufacture a wide range of Alloy Dry Sump tanks, from basic models to our Top of the range 6R4 type Split Dry Sump Tanks which gives maximum De-aeration and guaranteed non-surge even under the most demanding conditions with our special anti-surge bottom pick up pipe.
GRP4 Fabrications Dry sump tanks have been tried and tested by Competitors and Engine builders alike.
Our Tanks have an option where an extra breather can easily be screwed in when an extra engine breather is require, especially for BDA Engines, as fitted in a lot of Mk1 and MK2 Escorts.
Inlet and Outlet fitting on all our Tanks are 5/8" BSP threads.
Also these Tanks can be supplied with an option of a Dip Stick for easy checking of Oil level in the Tank.
Other options include our Split Tanks which makes cleaning and oil changes easier and a lot more effective.
Also we have the option of Black anodizing on our Tanks, which has proved a much nicer than Powder coating.
