Escort Mk1 Mk2 Grp1 Atlas Axle *P

GRP4 Fabrications in-house manufactured Atlas axle to suit Mk1 and Mk2 Escort.

We use only original FORD casings, which have proven to be the most reliable, re-tubed with heavy-duty tubes with all brackets jig-welded for accuracy.

Fitted with GRP4 shock brackets, leaf spring saddles, and Panhard bracket on the right-hand side.

4-link brackets can be fitted upon customer request.

3 different casing widths are available from the drop-down menu:

-- 48.5" wide casing: Same width as an English axle to suit a non-arched shell (approx. 1368mm wheel-to-wheel dimension).

-- 50" casing: To suit a shell using rear Forest arches (approx. 1405mm wheel-to-wheel dimension).

-- 52" casing: To suit a shell using rear Tarmac arches (approx. 1457mm wheel-to-wheel dimension).

Fitted with a Gripper plate-type LSD with lifetime warranty.

All our axles are professionally meshed and assembled using top-quality Timken bearings.

2-piece heavy-duty Quaife 18T half shafts and flanges.

Fitted with M12 studs and wheel nuts.

10mm alloy axle brace, steel diff cover, and half-moon spreader plates.

Fitted with Cosworth sliding caliper and 240 x 10mm solid discs.

All finished to a very high standard for years of reliable competition use.

All parts are manufactured in-house at GRP4 Fabrications, so axles can be custom-made to customer requirements and specifications.

Brake pipes and brake pads supplied at extra cost.

Please allow a minimum lead time of 4 weeks for production.

Axles are supplied without oil — we recommend Castrol B373.

Oil capacity approx. 1.1 liters.
